Fire Truck Christianity

I love George Foreman. He started his boxing comeback in 1987 at the age of 38 and at a weight of 255 pounds. Nobody believed in him, but Foreman was a great self-promoter. He said this, "People follow a fire truck, but nobody follows a water truck. So, put on a fire." With that winsome, passionate attitude, he quickly became a media darling and then he shocked the world when he regained the heavyweight title at the ripe old age of 45. Now, as Christians, it is important that we be fire trucks for Jesus Christ. Water truck Christianity communicates a yawning, ho-hum relationship with the Lord. But, fire truck Christianity, that gets people excited for Jesus. So let's sound the alarm because the Lord is coming soon, and people need to get right with Him while there is still time! Now that’s REAL HOPE.
