Have you heard the expression WHERE THE RUBBER MEETS THE ROAD? It speaks of the real test of something. Now I believe the test of Christianity ... where the rubber meets the road is found at home. Anyone can praise God at church ... but what about at home? You see we can fake a good marriage and family at church, but we certainly can't at home. So what is the answer? It is simply this: the only person you can change is you. Quit trying to change your spouse or your kids or your parents. Ask God to change you! Determine to be soft clay in the hands of the potter. Let Him have His way in you. When Jesus is really in charge of your heart, He uses you to make a difference in the most important place ... your home. As you yield each day to Jesus and seek His face, you will find REAL HOPE.
