In Colossians 3:12 we read "And so, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Did you catch that? If you have trusted Christ as Savior and Lord, He says that you are "chosen, holy and beloved." On our worst day, that is still true of us. Now if you and I will truly believe we are chosen, holy (set apart for God's service) and unconditionally loved, it will change how we think of ourselves. It will change how we act and react. It will change how we respond when we fall and fail.  Let the truth of Col. 3:12 - that you are chosen of God holy and beloved - flood your heart today. The King of the universe chose you to be on His team, to be in His family ... so you could shine His light in this darkened world. Now that's REAL HOPE.
