I believe we are living in the last of the last days.  The signs of Christ's soon return are all around us.  One of the telltale signs that this is the last of the last days is the hatred of the world toward those who are standing up for the Lord and His Word, for absolutes, and holiness, and godly moral standards.  America used to value Christianity—but not anymore.  The moral revolution has cast Christianity to the side.  As Al Mohler put it, “What was condemned is now celebrated, what was celebrated is now condemned, and those who refuse to celebrate are condemned.”  Today, faithful followers who speak the truth in loved are vilified and hated, mocked and attacked. So what are we who love the Lord to do?  Should we water down the message to make it more palatable, to make it fit with the corroding culture of the day?  Never!  “I believed, therefore I spoke.”  If we really believe we will speak up and speak out and pray for boldness, as the disciples facing persecution also prayed.  Remember, wrong is wrong, even if everyone is doing it ... and right is right, even if no one is doing it.  Now that’s real hope.
