I watched your sermon "Breaking Satins Chains". "WOW!!" A little over half way through when you talked about being set free I started realized how much my life has changed and how many chains Jesus broke off me and set me free. I felt as if God was changing me right then or that Jesus just broke the last chain that Satan had on me.
I was so overwhelmed with joy and happiness and the love for God that I cried. I threw my arms and praised God for all the great things he has done in my life recently. I haven't had a service that good since I left Texas. I felt so good the rest of the day.
I look so forward to next Sunday when I can have another service like that one. Of course I don't have to wait, I can watch your sermons everyday of the week. How great the Internet is when it's used correctly.
I recently ordered your series titled "The Fourth Quarter". I can't wait to get it so I can use that to start off my stay at home Sunday service. I'm even thinking of inviting a friend or two over to watch it with me.

I want to thank you for your ministry. I live in Norman, OK. Where I work, I have the phone 24/7, so I am unable to go to Sunday morning services. I use to have the phone just 1 weekend a month. they down sized our office and I am the only one left in Oklahoma city office.
I had prayed about finding a way I could worship. I didn't even know I had the Family Net channel, I turned to it about a month ago and really enjoy the service from the music to the message.

One Sunday morning many months ago I tuned into your broadcast at First Church in Texarkana. I honestly don't recall your message that day but I do remember that through you, God was speaking to me. It was as if you knew me and had me in mind when you wrote your sermon for that day. Of course it was the Holy Spirit speaking to me. That was the beginning of a Sunday morning relationship with your sermons that has lead me to a greater understanding, a closer walk with the Father, new ways of thinking and believing, and, I think, have made me a better Christian.
So thank you for your outreach television ministry and thank you for making your sermons available for purchase. Your message touches my spirit every Sunday and I thank God for the way He uses you to reach others. |

Dear Pastor Schreve,
Due to an illness in late-October I was unable to attend my church. Lying in the bed feeling poorly I scanned the channels around 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. God stopped my surfing about the time you were approaching the pulpit. I don't recall the message that day. However, it made such a mark on my heart that each Sunday while I'm attending my church I record your message by DVR so I can watch it during the week.
Last night I was watching the sermon that aired 03/25/2007 titled Center Stage. Talk about a POWERFUL message! It fills my heart to know that God's Word is being sent out via TV & radio undiluted. Your unabashed delivery is what we as believers need to hear. Even non-believers need to hear it as well. The Truth is the Truth, it's ALL ABOUT JESUS! Without the Blood & the Cross there is no church! The watered-down rhetoric that many TV preachers are selling isn't getting anyone anywhere except to the lake of fire & to line their pockets with money of the misled.
Please know that the message God has put in your heart is making a difference! His Light is definitely shining through Jeff Schreve, the man, the pastor & the servant of God.

About a year ago we moved from Cincinatti Iowa to Ottumwa, Iowa. We couldn't take our pets because there were no fences. We had to come back and forth about an hour away to feed the pets and visit with them.
Well my kids weren't adjusting to the move and we decided to move back to Cincinatti to finish the school year out. A year or so ago we were loaded with household goods and one of my cats named S'mores in the mini-van. We left that morning and made several stops all in total about a 70 mile radius. We even stoped a couple of times way out in the country one at a service station and once at a house. Well when we returned home our cat Smores was not in the van she had escaped somewhere along the way.
My kids and I worried so much about her so we went back and posted a lost note and gave the phone number, I really didn't think anyone would call because it would be long distance for them. So we began to pray, on the way up to Ottumwa I would say kids let's agree in prayer that God will just put her in our path and we can bring her home.
About a year passed, and we had given up hope of finding S'mores... but it began to get really cold here. I began to worry again for Smores. I prayed a most pitiful prayer, it was more of a whine..... I said, "God at least guide her to someone kind that will at least feed her. I ask it in Jesus' name Amen."
Well two days later, we had to go to the Super Walmart in Ottuwa, Iowa. Mr. Smith works there and as I was walking up the front isle he said, "I've got your cat! Does she have a white tip on her tail?" I said, "Yes! Oh my goodness."
God is kind and very sweet , even to return a little ball of fur with a white tip on her tail. She was lost in a 70 mile radius and for over a year. I felt I had to tell people about this. God is great and nothing is impossible to Him , it makes me think of the Bible verse, "Make your needs known to Him for He cares for you." Even the little things.
God bless you all and your ministry , you all were a blessing to me the other day. I thank our Lord Jesus for all He had done. |
