Here I am locked-up in jail. Scared, worried, sad, and lost again. I really started praying, really trying to understand why my life is such a mess. Then I was blessed by watching your program. You helped give me the needed strength I was lacking. What I wasn’t understanding in my own study, I was receiving through your program.  I felt the need to start a Bible Study and Prayer group with one other person. That was 4 ½ months ago, and I have stayed diligent with it as people came and went.  A person in the jail saw what was happening and was able to get me about 18 new Bibles, and the group is growing still. I truly thank my Lord and Savior for my life-changing experience. Nothing is by accident. God provided you when I needed it most. I now live each day as a child of God and a servant for my Lord. One day I felt the Lord telling me to help a ministry, but He didn’t tell me which one. So I said, “Lord, I will do it, but you need to tell me which ministry.”  The following Sunday, I watched five different Christian programs, but God still didn’t tell me which ministry to support. Then you came on TV.  As soon as you appeared, and even before you began to preach, the Lord said to me, “That is the ministry I want you to help.” And in my humanity, instead of saying, “Yes, Lord,” I said, “Lord I don’t know who this preacher is. I have never seen him before, nor have I ever heard him preach.” And the Lord’s answer was, “I HAVE.” So I responded, “Lord, that settles it.”  So after I heard you preach that day, I understood why. I have been watching your program ever since. I believe God is truly speaking through you. God touched me in your message about not liking yourself. The tears are flowing just a river from my eyes … because God did something for me through the message. For the past few months I have been struggling on the inside over something I did when I was 27 years old. I had not told anyone the great torment and inner struggle I had been dealing with. I felt it necessary to write and let you know how much your TV Ministry and sermons have meant to us. I have been partially disabled with a severe back injury and a debilitating auto-immune disease. Having been a Christian for almost 30 years now, I thought nothing could ever make me fall away from God, but after 15 years of pain and agony, losing the ability to work, losing friends … I pretty much gave up on God.
I could no longer physically make it to church anymore, so my husband and I set out to see what ministries on TV could take the place of our Sunday morning church. It didn’t take long for God to lead us to you.  God was definitely at work in me. All the messages of God’s love and perseverance I had heard started to break through my hardened exterior. Over the next of couple months, I began to once again drink in the Word of God, delight in prayer, and even began to worship Him again. I have had a turn around that is nothing short of miraculous.  Your ministry played a big part in my emotional healing and return to the Lord. My husband took me to the doctor last Friday. After having worked all day with horrible pain in my throat and having spent my 3rd weekend in bed, I was treated for an upper respiratory infection. Dear Jeff, yesterday I checked out Prayer Works http://www.fromhisheart.org/Prayer-Pray.aspx# and was so impressed by what I saw that I decided to submit a prayer request and also pray for the needs of others.
